Our default currency is New Zealand Dollars (NZD / $NZ). At the top of the page, you can select the currency you wish to see the total in and will be the currency used if your request a formal quote by email.
The total will dynamically change as your enter content into the fields or select options, deselecting or changing field values, subtracts from the total.
The total shown is a guide only as exchange rates regularly change. If requesting a formal quote by email, that will be the rate used and set at the time of quoting. You can change the currency being used at any time while completing the form.
The amount shown excludes hosting fee for perpetual (long term) digidoc-hosted documents. If requesting a formal quote by email and have selected this option, a separate quote will be provided, reflecting the monthly fee.
The NZ$ amount excludes Goods and Services Tax (GST). Non-New Zealand clients are exempt from paying the GST and therefor the amount shown will be the amount invoiced (subject to exchange rate at the time of order).
Select if you would like your document to be hosted on digidoc under a sub-domain (digidoc-Hosted) or if you will be hosting you document on your own server (Self-Hosted). Alternatively, you can select Off-Line Version Only if you intend to have your document run off removable media such as a USB drive. Detailed information is provided HERE.
digidoc-hosted
Selecting digidoc-hosted will provide you the option to include an off-live version too, to complement your hosted version.
In addition, you can select the period of hosting in Weeks, Months or Long Term (Perpetual). Enter the desired number of weeks or months you wish your document hosted; the quote form will add that fee to the total. Long term (Perpetual) will not add the fee to the total as this will be ongoing billing on a monthly basis (request a formal quote be sent by email for the monthly fee).
Self-Hosted
Selecting Self-Hosted (hosting yourself on your own server) will also ask if you wish to add an off-line version and ask on what domain the document will run (i.e. yourwebsite.com). As there are no hosting fees, there is no request for hosting period and as such no ongoing fees.
Off-Line Version Only
This requires no hosting as the files are packaged and sent to be written by you to removable media. Both Windows and Mac formats are provided.
Select the style in which you would like your document to run:
Book
This will run as a page turn / flipping Page style and requires the number of pages, including front and back cove be a multiple of 2 (i.e. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 ….. 20, 22 etc.), in other words, an even number of pages. This option will ask how many pages (including covers) your document is. This option is best suited for portrait layout pages. There is no limit to the number of pages. EXAMPLE
Slides
This option works like a slide-show with one page visible at one time (much like Microsoft PowerPoint). This option allows for an odd number of pages, unlike the Book style. It is best suited to landscape layout pages. This option too will ask for the number of pages of your document. There is no limit to the number of pages. EXAMPLE
Photo Gallery
This option is self-explanatory; it is for displaying photo galleries. When selected, you will be asked to specify how many photos will be included. There is no limit to the number of images. EXAMPLE
