Cost
The price of a Digidoc publication is determined by the number of pages, selected UI tools, videos, pop-up images, custom hyperlinks, and other options, making a fixed fee impossible. Request a no-obligation quote to determine the publication-specific price.
Ongoing fees
There are zero recurring fees for your digidoc’s development and production. There are no recurring charges for the same publication after your purchase. If you choose the digidoc-hosted option, there’s a small weekly, monthly, or annual hosting fee, but the document itself carries no additional fee.
Modifying your active document after creation will involve additional costs. Check the FAQ ‘What if my document needs updating’.
Payment terms
All work is contingent upon prior payment. Your quote approval will trigger an invoice for payment if you do not make payment during the quote approval process. Following receipt of your payment, you’ll receive an email with instructions and an upload link.
Creating digidoc documents usually takes 2–12 hours, but could take up to 24 hours depending on the document’s complexity and our workload. Upon completion, you’ll get a link to your active digidoc document on our server; it needs approval before going live (if digidoc-hosted) or sent to you (if self-hosted).

Regular digidoc updates are essential when dealing with price and time/date-sensitive data. The update process entails replacing updated pages and providing a fresh digidoc (full set of files). You’ll only be billed for the pages needing updates. For example, if only 5 of 32 pages require changes, you only pay for those 5 pages. If you self-host, you’ll get a complete replacement file set; otherwise, we’ll handle it if it’s digidoc-hosted.

Language support
Digidoc documents can be shown in both left-to-right and right-to-left orientations, enabling interactive documents tailored to different scripts.
Currently, the digidoc user interface supports these languages:
English, Te Reo Māori, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Polish, Norwegian, Finnish, Turkish, Arabic and Hebrew.
However, using a native speaker, the system is capable of supporting any language. This support will guarantee that the document and user interface are fully compatible in terms of language and script. Please let us know if you need your digidoc in a different language or script, and we’ll discuss with you how to proceed.
IMPORTANT! If you would like us to produce a digidoc document for you either digidoc-hosted (excluding monthly hosting fee), Self-Hosted or Off-Line version and we do not currently have your language or script as part of our offering and can assist us with translation (152 single words or short phrases), we will produce your document FREE as compensation for your support.
The answer to this question has more to do with your personal circumstances and available resources. There is no difference in display, tools or functionality between digidoc-hosted, self-hosted, or off-line version, all function identically.
digidoc-hosted
This option provides the ability to have your document online without the need to have a website, hosting options or having restrictions imposed by your host/service provider.
Access to your document will be via a sub-domain of digidoc, for example, https://yourpublication.digidoc.online and it is this link you share with your clients be that on your website, social media, email or even in print material. Digidoc-hosted documents carry a nominal weekly, monthly or annual hosting fee as you will be utilising our server resources. This hosting fee is the only difference to self-hosting of your digidoc.
Self-hosted
This option enables you to host your digidoc under your own domain, eliminating any hosting fee from us. So, if you have access to your web server control panel (or a developer to assist you) and can create your own folders, this may be for you as there are no ongoing digidoc fees.
Off-line Version
This you can have either as a stand-alone product only or request it as an addition to either hosting option above. This enables you to write the files to removable media such as a USB, CD, DVD etc. in either macOS or Windows as both options are provided.
Many clients opt for this if attending trade shows, launching new products or business promotion as a branded give-away USB containing their digidoc. You can make as many copies as and when your desire.
